The Med-Pac ECMO (Extracororeal Membrane Oxygenation) Air Ambulance Unit is used to transport extremely critical persons for organ transport. Another use is for organ donor's to be moved to a location for transplants.
A typical ECMO equipment set up could contain a heart pump, artificial lung, blood warmer or other medical equipment as needed.
